Ghost Marmalade
In the frame of Collective Agenda, Council conceived a series of breakfast on hospitality, hosted in different Parisian art organisations.
Ghost Marmalade is a series of morning encounters aimed at exploring the meaning of hospitality across institutional and non-institutional practices. It is also an occasion for artists visiting Paris and their local hosts to discuss how hospitality affects their work.
The first edition of Ghost Marmalade took place in Fall 2017, as a cycle of twelve breakfasts between artists-in-residence and art organisations. They featured coffee-fuelled conversations in broken English, private tours of exhibitions and the introduction to artistic practices and ideas, with the promise of collective inspiration.
Ghost Marmalade is a project by Council, commissioned by La Cité Internationale des Arts, Paris.
