MARIE PLAGNOL – Assistant
Marie joined Council as a research, development and communication assistant.
As an aspiring curator, Marie is interested in the intertwining of the poetic and the political. She tries to bring together different disciplinary fields, to reflect around socially engaged art.
Marie has had the opportunity to work at the MAC VAL, the Picasso Museum, Para Site art center in Hong Kong and the kamel mennour gallery. She is a member of the young curators collective Champs magnétiques, currently working on an exhibition with artists from the ENSAD and ENSBA Paris.
Marie holds a degree in philosophy and social sciences (Sciences Po / Sorbonne-Université), and a master’s degree in cultural policies (Sciences Po), and contemporary art history (Panthéon-Sorbonne). She is currently studying contemporary art curation (Sorbonne-Université).
